Employee performance evaluation

This is an instrument to support the communication and integration process between organization and individuals.
Adopting an evaluation system is by all means one of the most efficient ways to encourage cultural change and organizational development.

The main advantages of adopting an employee evaluation system are:
1. A more objective, and thus more efficient, management of the human resources.
2. A formal planning of the activities and the possibility of keeping track of their results.
3. A smaller gap between objectives and expectations.
4. A deeper understanding and acceptance of the company’s ethics and standards.
5. A personalized and targeted identification of training needs.
6. A support for individual development (the performance evaluation works as a session of counseling, allowing employees to realize their strengths/weaknesses and helping them to focus their efforts).
7. An increase in individual motivation and efficiency. In fact, taking part in a performance evaluation increases the employee’s perception to be part of an organization which values the individuals.
8. A constant monitoring of the human resources.
9. A contribution to the development of incentive plans.
